Marilyn May Lutz

Marilyn May Lutz, age 79, of Sugar Grove, Ohio passed away on Aug. 6, 2025. She was born on May 18, 1946 in Racine, WI to the late Frederick and Arlena (Troutner) Kokke. Marilyn joins in death her parents; husband Michael Lutz and in- laws Herbert and Ethel (Reddy) Lutz. She leaves behind her children Victoria L. (Timothy) Taylor, Phillip T. Lutz and Samuel H. (Karen) Lutz; daughter in law Teresa Lutz; grandchildren Benjamin, Katherine, Thomas, Sydney, Samatha, Jacob, Joshua, Elizabeth, Emily, Isabella, Anthony, Alexander and Nicholas; Great grandchildren Riley and Milo. Also surviving are siblings Carol (Mike) Roland, Johanna (Ron) O’Brien, Patrick Kokke, Frederick (Sandy) Kokke, Louise (Denny) Grimm, George (Buffy) Kokke, Jeannie (David) Kaularich and Christopher (Julie) Kokke as well as many nieces and nephews. Marilyn worked for many years as cook with the Columbus City Schools, a job that she truly enjoyed. Michael and Marilyn owned Perfect Touch Ceramics for many years. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association, 225 B, Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601. There will be a celebration of Life service at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel on Wednesday Aug. 20, 2025 from 3P to 4PM. There will also be a gathering at Valleyview New Life Church Fellowship Center at 2454 Valleyview Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43204 so please continue to check the funeral homes website for updates.
