Marilyn Archer Lynch 85 passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024 in her home in Columbus, Ohio where she lived with her husband Raymond Lynch. She was born May 27, 1939, to the late Maywood H. Archer & Florence E. Conner Archer of Malta, Ohio. She was the last born of three brothers; Richard, Raymond & Roger and three sisters; Ruth, Reta & Rosemond who are all deceased.
She attended McConnelsville High School where she met her first husband Ronald Duncan, who she married in 1956 and had four children; Stephen, Joseph, Deanna & Sandra. She was a dedicated homemaker raising her four children. In 1973, at age 35 she went back to school at Pickerington High School where they allowed her to attend class with all the other high school students to get her H.S. diploma and graduated in June 1974. In 1977 she went to work for Western Electric/AT&T and retired in 1999. She was divorced from Ronald Duncan in 1985. In 1991 she married Raymond Lynch, a resident of Livermore California. They remained here in the Columbus area these last 33 years.
Marilyn enjoyed spending her time playing poker. She loved playing Texas Holdem with her senior friends at the Reynoldsburg Senior Center and at her home every week. She also enjoyed watching the Buckeyes every Saturday during football season. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Schoedinger East Funeral Home, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43232.
