Marilyn J. (Burkitt) Rhodes, age 76, of Circleville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009. Preceded in death by her first husband, Forest R. “Bob” Burkitt; parents, Bundy and Marie Sowers; and brother, James Sowers. Survived by her husband, Charles Rhodes; daughters, Patti (John) Dolby and Cindy Wing; stepchildren, Charles “Sonny” and Quadena Rhodes; grandchildren, Mike (Susan), Mark, and Mathew Dolby, Brady Wing, and Brooke (James) Brim; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Joan (Rod) Stump and Susan Sowers. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, October 18 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 19.
