Marjorie Moore Haldi

She was a graduate of Zanesville H.S. and received her B.S. in Fine Arts from The Ohio State University. Marje was dedicated to historic preservation and the German Village Society, where she volunteered and served on the Board. She also served on the Women’s Board of the Columbus Museum of Art and the Board of the YWCA Columbus. A gifted event planner with an artful touch, she left her gracious signature on countless parties and fundraisers. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Haldi; and brother, Jack Moore. Marje will be missed by her loving daughter, Lisal (Don) Gorman; grandchildren, Cody Hondros, Morgan Hondros, Alex Haldi, and Jenny (Dave) Speas ; and great-grandchildren, Donald, Taylor and Shelby Speas.

A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday, March 13, 5-7pm. Words will be welcome. Please contact the family for details.
