

Marjorie Ann Orinski-Randolph, age 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Heartland of Urbana. She was born August 9, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Edna (Kohl) Baker and was a 1940 graduate of Columbus West High School. Marjorie was a volunteer with the USO during WWII, was a member of the Ladies' Oriental Shrine Thea Court #5 and enjoyed singing with the Columbus Swiss Club Singers and was a member of the Columbus Maennerchor. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and had retired from Doctor's Hospital West. Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Orinski and second husband John Randolph. She is survived by her children, Jim (Judy) Orinski and Sue (John) Doherty and grandchildren Michael and Michelle Orinski. Funeral service will be held at 1pm Friday, August 22, 2014 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH, 43204 where family will welcome friends from 12-1pm; interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery; Pastor Jim Blankenship, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215 in Marjorie's memory.
