

Marjorie “Jean” (Maxwell) White, 90 of Columbus, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Jean was born March 27, 1920 in Coshocton, where she was raised and educated. Jean met William White while working at Kraft Foods in Columbus. They married and Jean stayed home to raise the family and worked part time at Lazarus. In later years, she volunteered at St. James the Less School, serving lunch. Jean loved her family and especially adored her grandchildren. She was the perfect “Grandma” and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed shopping at the Dollar Stores and going to garage sales. Preceded in death by her parents, Stacey and Jessie Maxwell; husband, William; and brother, Robert Maxwell. Jean will be missed by her loving children, Lisa (Jonathan) Koser, Nancy (Jeff) Zakany, Jeffrey, Susanne, and David White; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many good neighbors and close friends. Funeral services will be at 11:30am Monday, August 30, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH, where family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5pm.
