Martha Jeanne Blair

Martha Jeanne "Marty" Blair, 70, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 17, 2019. She was born August 26, 1948 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Gloria (Almquist) Blair. She was an elementary school teacher for many years and member of the Church of the Open Door. Martha was dedicated to God, her family, and her friends. She loved animals and was a breeder of rabbits and guinea pigs in the Elyria, Lorain, and Wellington areas. Martha is survived by her siblings, Sandy (Tom) Reddig, Donald (Deanna) Blair, Bonnie Blair, and Douglas Blair; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. September 21, 2019 at The Church of the Open Door (Elyria Campus) 43275 Telegraph Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035. A private graveside will be held later at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
