Martha M. Erwin, 66, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at her home in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was born on May 25, 1958, to the late Lewis and Martha E. Hilton in Steubenville, Ohio. Martha dedicated much of her life to working in the food service industry. She found great joy in spending time at the Senior Center, where she enjoyed connecting with her many friends. Martha was known for her deep love of her cats, her talent for crocheting, and her unwavering faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Phillip Erwin, and her second mother, Auntie Jo, whom she held dear. She is survived by her uncles, Ralph (Christine) Smith and Neil (Kathy) Smith; as well as several cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
