Martha Jane Spencer

Jane is survived by her son Paul (Anita Woodard), daughter Kate (Josh Leonard), and grandson Robert Woodard. Jane is also survived by her ex-husband Robert Woodard Jr. and brother-in-law Bruce Martin.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, David Richard Spencer and sister, Susan Ellen Martin.

Jane worked tirelessly both inside and outside the household. She adeptly juggled being a homemaker as well a secretary for Woodard Drywall. Later in life she worked at the Forum at Knightsbridge where she used her people and organizational skills to help man the front desk in the memory care unit, interacting regularly with patients and families.

Jane was known for her wicked sense of humor, her love of rubber stamps and paper crafts and her baked goods.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5-7pm at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, OH, 43221.

Memorial contributions may be made to a pet welfare organization of your choice in honor of Jane and her beloved cat, Bella.
