Martha Ann Wallace

Martha Ann (Justice) Wallace, age 82, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Welch, WV to the late Alda and Emma (Hall) Justice. Martha was raised in Coal City, WV and graduated from the old Coal City High School in 1952. After graduation, she worked for the FBI as a stenographer in Washington DC. Martha married her husband, Arthur Wallace, Sr., on February 3, 1962, and they raised their family in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoyed dancing throughout her life. Martha worked for Franklin County Adult Probation for many years. She was a member of the National Baptist Memorial Church in Washington DC and Walnut Heights Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. Martha is survived by her husband; children, Rhonda (Mark) McGuire and Arthur (Leslie) Wallace, Jr.; grandsons, Ian and Owen; sister, Doris French; sister-in-law, Jenny Justice Stevens; nieces, nephews, and the family dog, Jack. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215 or to a charity of choice in Martha's name. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger East Chapel.
