Martin H. Burke

Mr. Burke proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. He received the Bronze Star for bravery under fire and received numerous other decorations. He also retired as Senior Vice President of Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Mr. Burke was a devoted family man and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by four children, Barbara Ann Burke (Mark Poirier) of Newark, James Burke of Bowerston, OH, Kelly Ann Burke of Newark and Mark (Joann) Burke of Troy; grandchildren, Aarin Burke, Ryan Collins, Alisha Collins, T.J. Burke and Barbara Collins; great-grandchildren, Ava, Lucas, Lane, Olivia, Lillian and Tessa; great great granddaughter, Anna; one sister, Hannah Robles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Maria Burke in 2000; daughter, Karin Collins; son, Shawn Burke; sister, Winifred DiDanato; and brothers, James, John, Richard and Joseph Burke.

At his request, there will be no service or calling hours observed.
