

Martin King passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in Westerville with his loving family by his side.
Marty was born in Toledo, OH on February 8, 1957 to Virginia C. King and the late Ohio Senator Frank W. King. Marty was a graduate of Northland High School class of ’75. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1981 with a B.S. degree in Marketing. Marty spent his career in the insurance and telecommunication fields. His career at Nationwide began in 1998 with the Individual Annuities Group. From there, Marty joined Nationwide Retirement Solutions where he helped transform their center into a first class call center. He was always looked upon as the expert. He was dearly loved by his colleagues and friends at Nationwide and will be truly missed. Marty enjoyed fishing, yard work, home remodeling projects, and spending time with his family and friends. Marty, was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His warmth and wit will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children; Katie King, Jessie King, Chris Hinckley; grandchildren Lilly, and Griffin Hinckley; his mother Virginia King; sisters Carolyn Edgar, Charlotte (Dutch) Ashton, Francie King (Gary) McKee, and Phyllis King. He is also survived by the love of his life Ms. Kelley Russell, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel 6699 N.
