We have temporarily lost contact with a precious soul who has been welcomed into Heaven. Husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, co-worker, friend, and neighbor; Marty Kraly touched and enriched the lives of many in his almost 62 years on Earth. Marty was raised in Lorain, and resided in Dublin, Ohio. Marty passed away on March 1st, 2022, at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio after battling cancer. Everyone is blessed to have had the time they did with Marty, and to experience the joy he brought to all with his wit and laughter. Marty enjoyed fishing, barbequing, and boating at Indian Lake during the summers, as well as fishing trips with his sons on Lake Erie. He was a life-long fan of Cleveland and Ohio State sports teams, especially the Browns and Buckeyes Football. Marty was a man of faith, spending Sundays with his family at St. Brendan’s Church and attending the annual Catholic Men’s Conference with his sons. He attended The Ohio State University, then went on to graduate from DeVry Institute of Technology. Marty began working at Xerox after graduation and remained there for 37 years until retirement. He was most recently employed by Konica Minolta.
His true passion was to spend time with his wife and two sons, as this took precedence over everything else in his life and brought him the utmost joy. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, sons, Mitchell and Andrew, sisters, Michelle Wright (Barry) and Marci Hilko (Jeffrey), sister-in-law Susan Keighley, brother-in-law Rick Keighley (Cleo) as well as several nieces and nephews. Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mary Jane Kraly, and brothers-in-law, James Stamos and Jon Keighley. Marty was an extraordinarily special person and will forever be remembered by all who knew him and loved him, because to know Marty was to love him.
Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN where a visitation will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 10am followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio.
