Mary Ellen Bostic, age 75, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born in Erie County, Ohio on December 12, 1936 to the late William Henry and Hortence Sara (French) Thompson. In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy (Jerry) Parker; grandchildren, Brittney, William, Daniel, Philly, and Victoria; siblings, Jack and Charles Thompson and Margaret Dover. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Interment to follow at Asbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
