Mary Lee (Frazier) Brown, 95, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away peacefully at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital at 5:00 a.m. on July 25, 2020 with her son, Bill and granddaughter, Nicole by her side.
Mary was born on October 15, 1924 in Williamson, West Virginia to Leoda (Cook) and Cleveland Frazier. She grew up in Williamson and graduated in 1943 from Fort Gay High School.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl (RC) in 2000, and her 3 sisters, Helen, Hazel, and Gaynell; and 3 brothers, Bill, Junior, and Donnie Ray.
Mary's husband RC was in the Military for 30 years where she and her children (Bill and Bobbie) traveled the world with him until he honorably retired. Mary loved playing the organ for her church, fishing, and playing bingo in her spare time. Mary was great cook and loved to make fried pies and homemade ice cream with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her son, Bill Brown and wife Linda of Gahanna, Ohio; daughter, Bobbie Hiserote of Gahanna, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Kim (Hiserote) Williams and husband Rob of Lewis Center, Ohio; Rob Brown of Westerville, Ohio; Nicole Hiserote of Marquette, Michigan; Lena (Brown) Newman and husband Matt of Westerville, Ohio; Craig Brown and wife Mandy of Pickerington, Ohio; 1 step grandchild, James Bolton and partner Angie Mueller of Newark, Ohio; 5 great grandchildren, Ashley (Newman) Salsburey and husband Tyler of Sunbury, Ohio; Cierra (Newman) Carte and husband Seth of Westerville, Ohio; Corrie Newman of Westerville, Ohio; Benjamin Breslin of Lansing, Michigan; Carter Brown of Pickerington, Ohio; 3 step grandchildren, Jessica Sue Gathers of Groveport, Ohio; and James Bolton of Columbus, Ohio; and Lance Bolton of Newark, Ohio; 5 great great grandchildren, Miley Carte, Kinsley Carte, Grayson Carte, Kennedy Salsburey, and Parker Salsburey; and 3 great great step grandchildren, Knox Bolton, Corbin Gathers, and Teagan Gathers, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 30th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio. There will be a graveside service following at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
