Mary A Culver

MARY CULVER (1936-2018) Age 81 yrs. of Columbus OH formerly of West Terre Haute, IN, passed peacefully into her Heavenly Home on March 22, 2018 at her daughter's home. Married to Robert Culver in 1953 and spent 62 years in marriage before his passing in 2015. Mary retired from the Sisters of Providence Infirmary after 20 years of service as a LPN and was a graduate of the Ivy Technical School Licensed Practical Nurse Program. She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She loved gardening and going to estate sales. She was member of VFW Post 8794 and American Legion Post 430. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Allyn; parents, Joe Soat and Alyce Eads Vail; stepfather, Leo Vail; sisters, Judy Coleman, Virginia Goodwin, and Sue Magnus. Mary is survived by her daughter, Kathyrn Culver-Madden; son, William (Heidi) Culver; granddaughter, Melissa Culver; sisters, Joyce (Chuck) Gallia, Jane Edwards; brothers, Larry (Bernice) Soat, Tom Vail, Butch Vail and companion Linda, Ted (Carrie) Vail, Merlyn Vail; and her two beloved cats ZoomZoom and Sweetie Girl.
