

Mary Elizabeth Fulmer, 73, of Columbus, passed away Wed., August 3, 2011 at St. Ann’s Hospital with family at her side. She was born in Columbus on November 12, 1937 to the late Oran C. and Dorothy E. (Gates) Wilson. She was a 1955 graduate of Sandusky High School and then attended The Ohio State University. Her employers included Highlights for Children, Four Seasons Nursery, Buckeye Landscape, Bayer & Co., Columbus Coated Fabrics and Techneglas. She launched her own free-lance writing business, Wordspinners, and had several articles published in national magazines. She enjoyed reading, movies, TV (esp. Law & Order), cooking and having meals with friends and family. She was known for her great sense of humor. Preceded in death by brother James N. Wilson, and former husband of 24 years Don C. Fulmer. Survived by sons Andrew Scott Fulmer and Michael James Fulmer, sister Eleanor A. Lovrity, brothers Oran A. (Natalie) Wilson and Thomas H. (Claire) Wilson, granddaughter Amanda R.
