

Mary Louise Gould, age 91 of Bexley, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. Mary was born in Massillon, Ohio, daughter of the late Ivan and Catherine Getz. Also preceded in death by her husband, Dwaine Gould, and sister, Betty Carr. Mary was a very caring and strong woman, who always put her family first. She worked for a number of years as a registered nurse, always taking care of others, and eventually retired from Mercy Hospital. Throughout her career she remained active in many professional nursing organizations as well as was active with her church, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Mary enjoyed sewing, redecorating, and cooking, but most of all, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother was something she took much pride in. She will be missed by her children, Ken (Sandy) Gould, Robert Gould, James (Christine) Gould, Dwaine Gould, Kathy Kahrl, and Barbara Fields; grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer (Michael), Lisa (Eric), George, Kristopher, Samantha (Jason), Emily, Ashley, Mike, Megan, and Kyle; great grandchildren, Caroline, Toby, and Bradley; sister, Mardell (Dave) Maser; brother-in-law, Charles (Billie) Gould; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 5225 Refugee Rd. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where a prayer service will begin at 7 P.M. Msgr Robert Noon, Celebrant. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
