Mary Jane D. Woods

Mary Jane D. Woods, 79 of Worthington died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. A first generation Belgian she was the daughter to the late David and Jane Defourneaux, she was born September 16, 1930 in Washington, DC.

The always smiling Mary Jane was a warm hearted friend to all. She delighted in her grandchildren and lived her life with much joy always trusting in God’s love. A devoted member of St. Peter’s church she was a sponsor for RCIA and a Stephen minister.

Mary Jane will be missed by her children, David (Anne) Woods, Larry (Marche-Ann) Woods, and Sallie (David) Gotoff; and eight grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 Monday, September 28, 2009 at St. Peter Church, 6899 Smoky Row Rd., Columbus, Msgr. John Johnson, celebrant. Family will receive friends Sunday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. Columbus from 3-5:30pm.
