Mary was born January 6, 1948 and went home on February 22, 2020. Born in Jackson MI, Mary is survived by her mother, Mary E Kiener, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 7 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father Clem A Kiener.
Mary was a '66 graduate of Bishop Watterson and attended OSU. In the early 70's she moved to Washington DC where she worked for the Federal Government Department of Transportation. She was quite the globe trotter in this career working in Saudi Affairs and traveling to the 1986 World's fair in Vancouver to help coordinate the Saudi Pavilion. From there she hopped to Singapore, Australia and Europe.
In retirement, she made the move back to Columbus to be with her family and be close to the nephews and nieces she loved. She enjoyed summers going to the farm her Dad had and visiting with our many cousins there.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Heritage Villas on the Links Clubhouse, 5590 E. Links Blvd., Hilliard, OH 43026 at 11:30 a.m.
