Mary Ann Marchese

Mary Ann Marchese, age 82, of Upper Arlington, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was born February 5, 1933 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late John F. and Geneva Sharpe. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her husband of 61 years, Joseph; her children, Joe (Rhonda) Marchese, Greg (Bobbi) Marchese, Sue (Alan) Bury, Tom (Debbie) Marchese, Ann Adams, Chris (Barbie) Marchese and Tim Marchese; her adored grandchildren, Jordan, Blake, Christian, Ryan, Candace, Amy, David, Alex, Michael, Michelle, Jennifer, Nick, Chris, Nate, Lauren and Allison; great-grandson, Max; brothers, John Sharpe Jr. and Louis (Sue) Sharpe; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a longtime member of St. Timothy Catholic Church and the Swim and Racquet Club. Mary Ann cultivated many friendships through tennis, bridge and traveling but family was her greatest love. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1088 Thomas Lane, with Monsignor John Cody, Celebrant.
