Mary E. McCoy

Mary E. McCoy, age 81 of Gahanna passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Zusman House. She was born on December 20, 1933 in Littleton, WV to the late William and Mary Kuhn. Mary was a long time member of the Easton Community Church. She had a long and successful career with the Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools, retiring after 24 years. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Willard and Paul Kuhn and Millie Bohn. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Kenneth "Kenny" McCoy, Jr.; children, Sharon K. McCoy, Roger N. (Rebecca) McCoy, Sr., Lynn (James) Maynard; grandchildren, Heather (Bobby) Wolf, Amanda (James) Bolsen, Jimmy (Teresa) Vallance, Roger (Kara) McCoy, Jr., Paige McCoy, Tabitha (Joe) Gatewood, Tiffany Maynard and Taylor Maynard; 7 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Athaleen Delligatti; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Friday, August 28, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna, where the funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, following the visitation. Pastors Jay Anderson and Donnetta Peaks officiating. Internment at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
