Mary L. Niemet, 84, of Columbus, died Thursday, January 9, 2014. She was born December 9, 1929 in Columbus to the late Snow and Sarah (Roese) Poling. She loved taking care of her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed cooking and sharing her recipes. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Stephen, son James, sister Dorothy McManaway and brothers Andrew, Harold, Richard and Floyd. She is survived by sons Stephen Jr., John (Janice) and Robert, grandchildren Stevie III (Julie), Scott (Joshua), Bob, Brian (Laurie) and Shayne (Kara), great grandchildren Jaxson and Hailey, sister Edith (Kenneth) Conley and brother Herbert. Family will receive friends Monday, January 13, 2014 from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 1 PM.
