Mary Elizabeth Reece

Mary Elizabeth Reece, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Westminster Thurber Retirement Community. Mary was born on September 28, 1914 in West Jefferson, OH; she was the daughter of the late Robert and Fern Thomas. Mary was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Robert Reece; brothers, Charles, Richard and Louis Thomas; and sister, Irene Thomas. Mary is survived by her loving family, children, Bob (Jody) Reece of Columbus, OH and Beth Reece of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Meghan (Jason) Martin, Adam (Kristen) Sherry and Beth (Stan) Nichol; great grandson, Phillip Nichol; brothers, David (Marge) Thomas and Carl Thomas both of West Jefferson, OH; along with many nieces and nephews. Mary retired from the State of Ohio Employment services after 20+ dedicated years. She was a former member of Fairmoor and Eastminster Presbyterian Churches. Mary was a proud grandmother, a supporting mother and a devoted wife. Graveside service for Mary will be on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:30am at Forest Grove Cemetery, 8270 Cemetery Pike, Plain City, OH 43064.
