Mary Ellen Spangler, born January 8, 1937, age 81, went to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 09, 2018. Mary was a member of the Tops Group, Early Birds Bowling League and the Women's Circle at Church. Preceded in death by her son, Stephen M. Spangler who also passed on May 9, 2011. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul Spangler; sons, John Spangler and Thomas Spangler; and daughter, Gloria (Dan) Humphrey; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather from 5-8 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 to the HEART and HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, May 11, 2018 with Pastor Mike Breidenbaugh officiating.
