Matthew DJ "Matt" Albert, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. He was born October 12, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joe and Dorothy (Green) Albert. He was a 1975 graduate of Franklin Heights High School. He was a diehard Cowboys fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Matt was an avid fisherman and foosball player. He was an employee of Matheson Gas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Albert and Norman Albert. Matt is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Jennifer (Jacobs) Albert; daughter, Lindsay (Joe Clancy) Albert; son, Kyle (Brooke) Maynard; brothers, Jimmy (Susan) Albert and Chad Albert; cousin, Cathy Green; close friends, Matt Siers and Gary Jordan; and many other relatives and friends.
