Mavie Ann Farabee

Mavie Ann Farabee, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 31, 1940 to the late Isaac and Ruth Mavie (Thomas) Carroll in Columbus, Ohio. Mavie was a devoted wife and mother. She was a longtime member of Northside Fellowship Church. Mavie was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing Bunco with her dear friends over the years. For many years, she was a dedicated employee of Nature's Collections. Mavie especially loved spending time with her loving husband of 59 years, Jack, Truck Pulling all across the state. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Spangler. She is survived by husband, Jack; beloved children, Christopher (Debbie), Jackie (Jeff) Ross, Craig, Mark (M.J.) and Scott; adored grandchildren, Christopher, Philip, Jessica (Clarence) Slone, Evan and Shelby; 3 great-grandchildren and brother, John (Donna) Carroll. Family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., Saturday, May 26, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Fellowship Church, 6841 Freeman Road, Westerville, OH 43082 in her name.
