Maxine Marie Newman, age 69, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Franklin and Stella (Bailey) Sharp; son, Sean Matthew Jennings; and several brothers and a sister. Maxine is survived by her children, Shalane Milby, William (Laura) Newman, and Lavonne (Ron) Jennings; grandchildren, Christina Milby, Ashley Milby, Joshua Jennings, Shawna Cramblitt, and Hailey Cramblitt; great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Milby, Katelynn Compton, Joshua Jennings II and Tyler Ott; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 29, 2012. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
