

Megan Marie Yannie, age 50 of Granville, passed away April 3, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. Megan was born in Columbus, daughter of the late C. Donn and Barbara Schneider. Also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bob Milbery, Jr. Megan gradated from Bexley High School, Class of 1978, and went on to graduate from The Ohio State University where she was a member of the OSU Marching Band. Following college, Megan lived for a number of years in New Hampshire before returning to Central Ohio in 2006. She currently had been working as a social worker for the Licking County Juvenile Court. Megan was truly a joyful and compassionate woman who had an infectious smile. She was proud of her family, always invested in their success and put them before all else. She enjoyed the outdoors and music of all kinds. She will be missed by the two most important men in her life, her sons, Matthew and Cortez Yannie; siblings, Terree Milbery, Jeff Schneider, Heidi Schneider, and Bart (Denise) Schneider; niece, Janie Cancila; nephews, Dan and John Cancila; and many other extended family members and dear friends. A Celebration of Megan’s Life will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 E. Broad St. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St. Rev. Richard Burnett officiating.
