Melanie Fisher Matte passed away at home on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014 at the age of 59. She is survived by her daughter, Megan Matte; mother, Ming Sickles Fisher; father, Fred Fisher; siblings, Melinda (Brooks) Bertl and Scott Fisher; and niece, Maddie Bertl. An alum of Dartmouth and Harvard, she is remembered for her sharp mind, creative spirit, and generous heart. Memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey in her honor.
