Melba L. Stewart age 85 of Columbus passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016. Melba was born October 12, 1931 in Lexington, OH to the late Dr. Harold Mills and Alberta (Starks) Mills. She attended The Ohio State University and was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed golfing, playing euchre with neighbors, and keeping her household clean. She had a feisty spirit. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Dr. Donald Mills. Melba is survived by her children Donald (Betty) Stewart and Robin (John) Lewis; grandchildren Donald (Jessica) Stewart, Jr., Jennifer Stewart, Kevin Stewart, and Wesley Alexander; 6 great grandchildren; former husband Leeson Stewart; special friends Debbie and Robert Bualick and daughter Erica. Friends may call 10-11 AM Friday at the Schoedinger East Chapel 5360 E Livingston Ave where the funeral service will be held 11 Am Friday. Overseer Dr. Sharon Johnson officiating.
