He was a beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend to all. He is survived by his loving wife, Gay Drumm, brother Jeffrey Carlson (Jane), children Lori Drumm (Mark), Randy Drumm (Rosario), Amy Browning, Jim Browning (Jayna), and 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Carlson, and his sister Patricia Griesbach (Ray).
His Christian faith was strong and gave comfort to us all during his final days.
He will be remembered for tending his flower gardens, boating, golfing and of course, his famous spaghetti. He was an avid fan of Buckeye football and UConn Women’s basketball.
Mel was a kind man that everyone loved. Anyone who knew him saw a man with a big heart, a big smile, and a big hug. He will be missed by us all, but never forgotten. He is truly home now.
