Melvin Wayne Gee
July 13, 1950 – July 31, 2022

Wayne Gee, age 72, of Gallipolis, formerly of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Wayne was born on July 13, 1950 in Alma, Ohio to Gilbert and Eva Gee. He graduated from Waverly High School then proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Wayne retired from the City of Upper Arlington. He was an avid hunter of deer and turkeys. Wayne enjoyed country music and Michigan football fan. He loved his children and grandchildren. Wayne led a faithful life. He renewed his spiritual commitment to Christ in November 2021 being placed into his loving hands forever. Preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents; brothers, Bill, Marty and Joe. Survived by his wife, Connie; children, Anthony Gee and Amy (Christopher) LaRiva; Christopher (Kaylee) Parsons, Brian (Jackie) Parsons, Angela (Larry) Loftus, Mark Parsons (Caroline); grandchildren, Samantha and Hannah Gee; and Christopher II and Chelsea LaRiva; Mariah, Trinity, CJ, Taylor, Brian Jr., Matiah, Trent, Cali, Janaya, Sophia, Harlequin, Silas, Larry, Gwendolyn and Roxanne; step-grandchildren, Josh, Nick and Mason; several great grandchildren; sister, Mary Sally Wright; brother, Danny Gee; sisters-in-law, Judy (Mike) and Cathy (Jim); best friend, Roy Johnson and beloved dog, Hank; many other relatives. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, where funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 4, 2022. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park.
