Michael C. Burns

He graduated in 1972 from Bishop Hartley H.S. Mike retired from Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 189 in January 2006, after 27 years of service. Mike worked for Sauer, Inc. and ran jobs for the company before he retired.

He is preceded in death by his father William Burns, brother William Burns II and Grandson Tommy Watson. Mike is survived by his loving wife Dottie, Mother Peg Burns of Gahanna, sisters Maureen (Jim) Powell, Kathy (Joe) Servick of Gahanna, brother Tim (Denise) Burns of Oxford, Michigan, sister-in-law Tricia Burns of Indianapolis, In., brothers-in-law Don Peters of Gahanna, David (Claudia) Peters of Delaware, mother-in-law Doris Peters of Gahanna, Grandchildren Parker Watson of Gahanna and Destiny (TJ) Demittio of Delaware and Great Grandson Elijah Demittio, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mike loved working in his garden, working with his hands, cooking and telling stories. There was not a person that he met that he did not like. He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may call Thurday, August 8, 2013 from 3 - 7 pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 East Johnstown Rd.
