Michael Cottrill, age 55, passed away at home on Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 26, 1961 to James M. Cottrill, III and Irene (Sanders) Cottrill. Mike was an an avid coin collector, gun enthusiast, life-member of the NRA, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, James M. Cottrill, III. Survived by his loving mother, Irene; brothers, James (Charlotte) and Casey (Lori); nephews and niece, James, Julie (Art), Joshua, TJ, and Mark; great-nieces, Sophia and Emma; aunts, Mickey, Janice, Libby, and Pat; numerous cousins and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
