Mike was born October 17, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to Donna Lee Davis Lowry Thomas and the late Robert Dean Lowry. Mike graduated from Hilliard High School, class of 1978. Mike had a long career at DCSC during which he led a team of Deaf and Hearing Impaired employees in which they communicated fluently in American Sign Language. Mike devoted the last 19 years of his life to the self-help and service of others.
Mike is survived by his mother, Donna Thomas; his brother, Rob (Carol) Lowry; his sister, Jeannie (Kurt) Nowicki; nieces and nephew, Katie Gregory, Meri (Josh) Benadum, Jessica (Corey) Fischer, Nate Nowicki, Mary-Paige Nowicki; great-nephew and nieces, Claire, Thea, Walt, Iris, and Ellie; former spouse, Cathy Christian; and many other relatives and friends.
Family will accept friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus.
