Dad,

I miss you every day. I know how proud you would be of all your children and all your children’s children. I do my best to see all of them through your eyes, I truly appreciate the time we had together, and at this point of life, am  lucky to now have a grown son that I couldn’t be any more proud of.  You would have loved knowing he is a kind, bright, and wonderful young man.  He has your charm and ability to genuinely have a conversation with anyone with open ears, open eyes, and an open heart.  What I would give to have you see how beautiful our life is,  to know all you provided led to a great love, a great family, and a great life. 

You were grounded, loving, dedicated, hard working and always present.

You are an amazing man. You always will be. 

I would love to grab a cup a coffee, walk around a book store or at the beach and talk about cars, music, and movies. You really deserved more life than you were given.

Our deepest thoughts of sorrow for you, Susan, and your family...Mike was a great guy...we enjoyed our times with the two of you...will always remember our trip to Las Vegas...and visiting your beautiful home on Spike Court...the design is one of our favorites...miss you and hope to touch base with you soon...our prayers, Ron and Sherry Ogrodnik

Our deepest sympathies to Susan and your family.  Since we heard the news, we've been trading memories of getting to know Mike over coffee, crossword puzzles, and ironing.  He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Mike always had a smile for everyone when he and Susan lived here at Sunrise Assisted Living for a time.  He loved working crossword puzzles and was so kind and caring with the other residents.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Susan, and the rest of your family.

We were so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. We both met Mike when we were all three working for East Ohio Gas in Youngstown. He was a great supervisor and caring friend -- and we appreciated his support when we transitioned from co-workers to marriage. Mike will always be a big part of our fond memories of our years in Youngstown. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and the family.

I met Mike over 30 years ago when we both were employed by Peoples Gas Company in Pittsburgh. Mike was, in many ways, a mentor for me and a great friend. He helped me with my career aspirations and provided guidance and counsel that led me to whatever success I have achieved in my career. Later in my career, I worked with Mike at East Ohio Gas - again a great opportunity for me with Mike's guidance. When I think of Mike I remember the funny jokes and jingles that he devised, and  I smile. I know that he was suffering with health problems over the past few years, and I regret that we lost touch.He is now in a better place, looking down at us and also smiling.

We have been friends with Mike and Sue since the early 1980s when our sons played soccer together.  Throughout all these years there have been times, due to their various relocations, that we thought we would lose touch but, thank goodness, our strong friendship prevailed and we managed to see them and enjoy various dinner engagements with them, either in the Pittsburgh area or over in the Boardman area or wherever they were.  Mike had a super personality, a great sense of humor, and a wicked smile.  This is such a difficult loss for all his family members and friends.  We will miss our dear friend immensely, but we will meet again.  May he rest in peace.

Mike McKee was a great guy who will be missed by his numerous friends.. I know how much Mike loved his family, and how proud he was of his kids and their accomplishments. 
Mike called me out of the blue a few years ago when he thought he would be moving back to Pittsburgh from Boardman OH. We had a nice lunch together and shared a beer and a few laughs from the old Mt. Lebanon neighborhood. I was honored that he thought of me and wanted to get together. 
Mike and I play some great tennis together. He always carried me in doubles.
My thoughts and prayers are with Sue and family.
I am hpoing that a memorial service will be held sometime in Pittsburgh.

Three things we always talked about.
1st, when we were living near each other.I called Mike at 3am and told him I was having a heart attack.He came right over and took me to emergency.We were there for four hours.I had heart burn.
2nd ,We worked together in downtown Pgh.Equitable Life Insurance.I drove.The challange was how close to the Fort Pitt Tunnels we could get.Without wrecking into the wall,taking out a couple of cars,killing anybody else or us.Cutting into traffic without slowing down or stopping.We did this five days a week rain ,snow,shine.Oh Yeah,nobody was interested in a ride to town.
Last but not least,the third will be betweem Mike and Me.
