Michael Peoples

Michael Peoples, 60, of Westerville, passed away on August 14, 2021. He was born in Santa Ana, California on July 2, 1961, to Phil and Susie (Clay) Peoples. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Peoples.

Michael loved to go on adventures with his granddaughter Everly. He was a huge fan of movies, music and obscure YouTube videos. Michael was the family carpenter, handyman, mechanic, etc. and enjoyed learning new skills. He was a devout follower of Manchester United Football Club. Michael loved tutoring the students at The Bridge Community Center every week. He worked hard every day of his life, whether in his 22 years working at AT&T or just helping someone out. His two dogs were his best friends. Michael was a loving, supportive mentor to all his children and a loving companion to his wife of 33 years.

Michael will be greatly missed by his wife, Traci (Jameson) Peoples; his children, Jessica (Mike) Workman, Matthew (Christina) Peoples, and Mackenzie Taylor Peoples; grandchildren, Everly Workman and Asher Workman (October 2021); his parents Phil and Susie; his beloved dogs, Persie and Rooney; and many other family members and close friends.

A funeral for Michael will be held at 3pm Friday, August 20, 2021, at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. His family will receive friends there from 1pm until the start of the service.
