Michael Dennis "Pete" Peterson

Michael Dennis "Pete" Peterson, age 66, passed away peacefully at home with this wife by his side on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Michael was born on July 1, 1949 to Boyd Lowell Peterson and Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Smith Peterson. Pete proudly served our country for 23 years in the US Navy where he was a distinguished Navy Seal. After serving in the Navy he was a HVAC Service Technician. Pete was a talented musician. He played the keyboard and brighten the lives of many senior citizens when he would go to local nursing homes and the Life Care Alliance to play for them. He is preceded in death by his father, Boyd Peterson and step-mother, Patricia Hoodlet.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth "Betty Jo" Peterson; wife, Karen Peterson; daughters, Michelle Keathley and Julie Peterson; grandchildren, Kellen and Connor McGlone; Chase and Sarah Keathley; and Benjamin Bobbitt; brother, Robert Peterson; step-sisters, Patricia, Karen and Colleen; other relatives and friends.
