Michael Alexander White

Michael Alexander "Rabbit" White, age 62, of Reynoldsburg passed away at home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was born on June 3, 1952 in Phoenixville, PA to the late Alexander and Erika (Plettner) White. Michael proudly served the US Army in the 83rd ARCOM. He earned an Associate Degree from Columbus State Community College and retired from DSCC as a human resource director after many years of service. Michael enjoyed visiting family, traveling to Las Vegas, and his annual golf trips to South Carolina. He enjoyed time at Alrosa Villa, Ameristop or playing Scrabble with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his warm and funny demeanor that would always bring a smile to anyone's face. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Willard White. He is survived by his loving children, Erika (Scott) Williams, Lauren White, and Jason (Kayli) White, and their mother, Deborah Fischer; grandchildren, Brayden and Riley White; sisters, Patricia White, Barbara Smith, and Michelle (Jon) Robinett; nephews, Harold Smith, Kris Robinett, and Nicholas Robinett; niece, Stephanie Robinett; as well as the Locey family. Family will receive friends 4-7 pm Sunday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held 11:30 am Monday, November 3, 2014.
