Mickel Ray Booth

Mickel Ray Booth, known to everybody as "Mike", passed away October 2, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. He was born August 22, 1956 in Columbus to Curtis and Patricia (Smallridge) Booth. Mike grew up in West Virginia, where he graduated from Lenore High School. He worked as a coal miner, a truck driver and a bus driver, as well as other jobs along the way. He loved mowing grass for his folks and was a faithful member of Gahanna Freewill Baptist Church. He also enjoyed a relaxing day of fishing or watching OSU football. He is the father of four children: Michael Curtis (deceased), George (Alexis), Desiree (Cody) and Myra; 4 grandchildren, and brother to Curtis (deceased), Rick (Sue), Dave, Larita (Eddie) and Steve; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
