IN THE CARE OF
Schoedinger Northwest
Mihaela was born and grew up in Romania. She graduated first in class from the Iasi College of Psychology. After earning MS and PHD degrees, she acted as the Regional School Inspector and a University Professor. Before retiring she taught at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
At home in Victorian Village, Mimi played host of neighborhood activities and “gala” events. She threw fun filled pool parties during the Fourth of July Dooh-Dah Parades and she relished in preparing lavish dinners for family and friends, especially at Christmas and Easter (her favorite).
Mimi loved animals carrying for her dogs and rescued cats throughout the years. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful backyard garden, her personal paradise in the middle of the city. Mimi loved to read, leaving behind an impressive library of mostly historical and political books. She spent the winter months enjoying the sand and sun of Cancun, where she insisted on staying at The Golden Parnassus, in the same room every year.
Unfortunately, strokes are the paybacks for the fun life that she enjoyed through the decades.
Mimi will be missed by many.
She leaves behind her brother Nichi and husband Alex.
Her final wishes were to be celebrated and remembered with a joyous cocktail party.
We hope you’ll join us at Jimmy V’s Pub on 5th Avenue in Grandview on Saturday March 18 at 4:00 PM, until we run out of liquor and stories.
