Mildred Ann Brown

Mildred was born on September 21, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Cecil and Mildred W. (Strohschein) Rose. She graduated from Linden McKinley High School. Mildred retired from Abrasive Technology after over 20 years. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Linden Chapter #2252.

Mildred was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She had a passion for The Ohio State Buckeyes, especially basketball and football. She loved watching wrestling with her daughters. They would sit and watch it 3 to 4 times a week with her. Mildred enjoyed gambling and playing the slots. She especially loved road trips to casinos in other states.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Kenneth Brown; and her granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Evener.

Mildred is survived by her children, Ina R. (Hap) Renzenbrink, Cheryle A. Commeans, Danny R. (Kelly) Brown, and Lora J. Columbro; her grandchildren, Heather Akers, Michael Brown, Missie Will, James Brown, Robert Brown, Kaleigh Sanfillipo, Nicholas Brown, and Andrew Webber; her 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; special girl, Chia; special friend, Melanie Compton; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00am.

Mildred will be laid to rest next to her husband at Northlawn Memory Garden.
