Mildred A. Christian

Mildred (Hann) Christian, age 86, of Grove City, passed away December 24, 2014 at home peacefully with her loving family by her side. Born December 3, 1928 to the late Walter Hann and Helen (Brown) Hann. Mildred was a South High School graduate of 1947 and attended the Ohio State University. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Perry, and son Douglas Walter Christian. Mildred is survived by her daughter Diane (Ted) Peurach of Bloomfield Hills, MI, son; Timothy (Sue) Christian of Avon Lake, OH, grandchildren; Ryan, Brett, Devin Peurach, Kegan and Kier Christian. She was a member of St. John's Protestant United Church of Christ and 65 year member of the Order of Eastern Star Beacon Chapter #593. She was an avid Buckeye fan, and loved growing all her own vegetables, and herbs. Millie had big gardens and shared all the produce with family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday December 29, 2014 from 11-1pm with an Eastern Star service beginning at 11 am and the funeral service beginning at 1pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City, OH with Dr. Carl Wiley officiating.
