Mildred Louise Mellon, age 81, of Grove City, Ohio passed away February 25, 2014. She was born January 31, 1933 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Raymond and Anna (Smith) Cherrington; also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mellon Jr. and daughter Susan Tatman. Mildred graduated from Central High School and worked for The Advertising Checking Bureau. She is survived by her children, Leslie (Gary) Ragsdale and Gregory (Cheryl) Mellon; grandchildren Jonathan (Katrina) Ragsdale, Jackson Mellon, Gregory (Angela) Mellon II and Corbin Mellon; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Harold and James (Thelma) Cherrington. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, February 27, at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, where services will be held at 1pm Friday; interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
