Mildred A. Roberts

Mildred Arlene Roberts, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. She was born on January 8, 1924, in Columbus to the late Dewey and Etta Yinger and attended South High School. She retired after many years of service from the Boy Scouts of America. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her gardening. She was married to the late Carl E. Roberts. She is survived by her children, Carl (Bonnie) Roberts, Bev (Steve) Wright, Mary Roberts, Linda Kiser, Debby (Doug) Clayton, and Sue (Dave) Palermini; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; special neighbor, Bea Griggs; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Wayne, Ed, and Harold; and sisters, Ada (Duck), Lucille, and Ruth. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Mortimer Dolman, M.D., and to the medical staff of the OSU Richard M. Ross Heart Center. Family will receive friends from11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
