Modell Fleenor

Modell, a former model, was a woman of grace and beauty. She loved people and never met a stranger. Her love of animals, especially cats, led to her caring for over 100 kitties during her lifetime and volunteering at Colony Cats.

Along with her parents, Modell was preceded in death by brothers John, Fred, and Ernest, and sister Margaret. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles Fleenor; son Zelalem and daughter Nigist; two grandchildren Brook and Afomia; sisters, Marie Hamon and Lois Ann McCauley; brother-in-law Sam Fleenor, five sisters-in-law, Maerene Winegarner, Patsy Bland, Brenda Craven, Zelma Bobrosky, and Gladys Fleenor; and many friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 10am to 11am. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am, Pastor Joe Sparks to officiate. Interment will take place at Mifflin Cemetery.
