Nancy A. Andrews

Nancy Ann Andrews, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011. She was born on March 8, 1931 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late Harold and Edna (Huber) Nussbaum and graduated from Harding High School (Marion, Ohio) in 1949. Nancy attended Denison University and was active in the Chi Omega sorority while earning a bachelor’s degree in 1953. She then began her career working as a buyer for F&R Lazarus Co. Nancy later retired as a real estate agent, having represented Cam Taylor and then Caldwell Banker. Volunteering at Children’s Hospital was very important to Nancy, including serving for many years with Twig 128. She was an avid golfer and participated in the Blacklick women’s golf league for numerous years. She also enjoyed spending the winter months in Bradenton, FL. Nancy married Charles Roger Andrews on Dec. 28, 1958. He preceded her in death in 2009. Nancy is survived by her children, Christine Elizabeth Nietz (F.Nathan) and Charles Roger Andrews II (Lynda); beloved grandchildren, Sarah E. Andrews, Hannah B. Andrews, Quentin Nietz and Charles J. Andrews; many special friends. Family will receive friends 1-4pm Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH 43232 with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:30pm.
