Nancy Ashe Brant

Nancy Ashe Brant, age 76 of Columbus, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. Nancy was born and raised in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, only child of the late Charles and Erma Ashe. Nancy graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended Kent State University where she studied Latin. She was the founder and owner of Oxford Antiques, a business she greatly enjoyed. Nancy was a beautiful, creative and intelligent woman who had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed playing bridge and tennis, reading, painting, quilting, and traveling. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles E. Brant; children, Julie (Greg) Brant-Drenovas and David (Cathy) Brant II; grandchildren, Samantha (Nathaniel Foos) Brant and Forest Brant; and other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Monday, July 18, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will also be receiving friends from 5-7 P.M. Sunday. Interment will follow the funeral at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
