Nancy Anne Hoobler, age 75, of Upper Arlington, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on August 10, 1951 in Canton, Ohio to the late Howard & Maxine (Grunder) Drake of Harlem Springs, Ohio. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law Dewey Yost. Nancy graduated from Carrollton High School in 1969. During her high school years, Nancy was the prom queen, a majorette, and enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band. Nancy spent the majority of her professional career working in the School- Age Childcare Program within The Upper Arlington City Schools. Nancy loved bowling, euchre, crochet, and knitting. The thing she loved most was spending time with her family, whether it be on family vacations, holidays, family gatherings, Christmas or just being a sports mom and cheerleader to their teammates. Nancy will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 54 years Denny Hoobler; daughter Angie Hoobler; son Andrew (Morgan and her son Rowen) Hoobler; sister Cynthia Yost; brothers Doug Drake and Lyle (Jamie) Drake; brother-in-law Jim (Lee Ann) Hoobler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. A 2nd Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Dodds Funeral Home, 129 N. Lisbon Street, Carrollton, Ohio 44615. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Dodds Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow at Westview Cemetery.
